The downfall of many blogs (apart from no one reading them) is a tendency of many bloggers to update them irregularly and eventually let them wither on the vine.
I’m hoping to avoid this by having a regular(ish) feature – a comics review, which summarises comics I’ve read lately.
So, without further ado…
This series is written by Paul Dini, who was one of the main forces behind the early 90s Batman animated series, which I’ve always thought of the best Batman adaption for either TV or film.
The heroine is Zatanna, a stage magician who’s also a real magician. This is a fun and clever read, set in Las Vegas with references to magic shows, Vegas weddings and Mammon. And any comic that has zombie Elvis impersonators in the background has to be good!
